Isn't she beautiful? A Nikon D50 and she's all mine. I haven't named her yet, but I sure do love this baby. She sleeps through the night and is not fussy at all.
We are not being very responsible with our tax refund this year, obviously! Suuuure we've got $1,000's and $1,000's in student loans and a million other responsible things we could do with the money but BAH! What fun would that be? We are calling it our tax re-FUN this year. I got my purty, shiney, fancy picture taker. The hubby got his new laptop. Keely is getting a neato-mosquito wooden play tower thing in the backyard. Her daddy is working on building it. So, this weekend I played with my new toy while hubby cut wood and Keely made a giant mess. Look at the pretty pictures. You MUST click them to look at their detailed glory. Oh, the colors and non-blurriness. What a dream.

She poured much water in her sandbox and then jumped in it. Gross, yes. But she had fun.
At least click this one and see how pretty it is.
I love how one little drop of water stays on each little leaf.
You are going to see an overload of photos this next couple of weeks I think. My apologies in advance.

Happy Monday all. Thank you for the comments on the Play Tent! Let's note that dear Keely has not gotten in it one time in the past 2 days. Uh-hum. Also, for those of you who didn't know, it was not my idea. I first saw the table tent here. If any of you do make one, I'd love to see your version.
In other news…For the past few weeks everytime I came home after being gone for a bit, I'd smell this foul smell in our house. How pleasant. I'd open the windows, take out the trash, light candles. Then, after awhile of being home the nose got used to smell and I'd forget about it…until I went out again. Finally, on Friday the hubby decided to check under the house to see if maybe something died in the crawl space. He did not find a dead creature, but several inches of water and sludge. One of the main old galvanized water pipes had got some holes. The pipe is from 1937, so it was bound happen. Anyway, all the water from the kitchen and laundry room has been draining under the house. EWWWWWW! That is so flippin' disgusting. Now the stinch is stronger and we haven't been able to wash dishes in the kitchen or do laundry. Well, we could but that would just be dumb, voluntarily adding to the sludge. The plumbers are supposed to be here at 9am to replace the pipe and then some clean-up people are going to dry it up. What fun! Are you grossed out? It ain't cheap to fix broken pipes either. sigh.
