Keely has changed her birthday color to blue, for today anyway. She is her mother's daughter for sure. I made this practice flag banner for the upcoming par-tay (read: maybe 4 relatives eating some cake. Do we know how to party or what?). I had intended to do the banner in all different blue fabrics, but thought that might not look so festive, so I went with a mix.
Binding and I do not get along so well. A few of my flags didn't get sewn all the way in.
I do not know who they think they are messing with!
Flag banner meet Elmer's glue. Fixed that right up. I think I'm going to try another one and also a little mini one for the chandelier over the table. First, I'm going to find some wider binding though.

The definition from the other side- Listless, not interested. I'm having the hardest time pronouncing this word correctly.I say it right once and then the next time I get it all twisted up. I was flipping through the flashcards looking for some good words and I quizzed Mr. English, I mean my hubby, and he knew all of them. He gave me a definition and then used it in an example. Every. one. of. them. Shuttie-uppie you. BUT I also got some old multiplication flash cards and that's where I got Mr. Smarty. The boy never memorized them as a student. So, I say "Well what's 9 x7?" and he guesses something, incorrectly, we laugh and then he gets serious faced and starts adding in intervals of 9's in his head. Three hours later, he spits out the right answer. He's a really smart guy so I have to take my HA! Finally something I'm smarter than you about 's wherever I can get them. I mean sure this isn't even smarts it's just memorization…but still! He can know every stinking word in the English language but by golly I have my 9 tables memorized and THAT is some important stuff!
Feeling lakadaisical about this post are ya?
Said it wrong again! argh….lax-a-days-ical—that's how it's said. NOT lack-ah-daysical. Right. got it. Wait a second….that's not right…It is the LACK not LAX….oh whatever.
