after the storm and a cautionary tale

Last night we went down to the bay to see the remains of the storm blow out. It was misty and chilly, but as always, it's so neat at the water after a storm.
Keely was very happy to go to the beach at night. She kept screaching, "I'm so exciting to go!" Made us laugh everytime.
Daddy and Keely played a few thrilling rounds of "chase me" and "I'm gonna get you!"
Can't you tell how happy she was?
And then, all the fun had to end when Keely got behind the wheel. Daddy said it was time to go and Keely didn't want to. She reluctantly got in the car and then decided she was driving!
She hopped in the driver's seat and floored it.
Poor daddy. Apparently, almost three year olds are still too young to drive safely.

dangit i almost peed my pants a little. the look on your husband’s face is absolutely priceless! that is a riot. the bigger version is even funnier.

too funny! although, I don’t know what is funnier, the actual picture of the fact that you felt you needed to add a disclaimer saying that she wasn’t actually driving!

I used to love the beach at night & after a storm. Looks like you all had some fun. That last picture is so funny! I think that you should have that blown up to have at her 16th birhtday party! Too cute!

I laughed out loud looking at that shot and my co-worker came in from her office to see what I was laughing about! You are sooooo funny!
