I added a few quarter-sheets, a couple pieces of fabric, and 3 aprons (in miscelleanous) to the shop if anyone's interested.
AND
Have you seen the Gee's Bend postage stamps? I love when good stamps come out.
The hubby spent the weekend starting to build the wall for the screened-in porch and Keely "helped" him for awhile, so I got a little break from her. We had a really nice Sunday together, mellow without any drama, so I'm feeling a bit better today. Thank you for all your comments, I think I replied to everyone.

Saturday, everytime I looked outside there was somebody reading something on a telephone pole outside of our house. I figured it was a Lost Dog poster, but then I realized that the readers were reading for quite a long time. I finally had to go out and see what was there. I waited until it was dark and I took the note and scanned it and then I kindly hung it back outside. I dropped one of the tacks and couldn't find it, so I even went and got a new one to secure the dang thing back up. Yes friends, I will blog anything. So, here is the pole's note. Click it to read.
Since you actually clicked it and read this- does that mean you would have blogged this too? I mean,
really don't we all have something better to do?

I alway read hand-written notes if they are posted in public.
I wanted to take photos of all the people's expressions as they read this letter. There was a constant stream of average folk standing there reading it with confused and/or amused looks on their faces. I thought it would have made for a neat series of photos. Of course, then my neighbor's would think I was weirder than previously thought.

**edited to add: When I first read the note I thought, "this is some good joking material." I must blog this and it will be funny. And we will laugh. Then, the real me (the one I'm working hard at becoming further and I don't know why I'm writing this here but…) came forward to stop the impulsive me. I wasn't going to post this because I try to do good and nice things in my life and I was not sure if this was a mean thing to do. I would never intentionally hurt another person's feeling or wish them ill. At first, when I read the note a lot of joking and sarcastic things came into my head (definately mean), but then I think of the person who wrote this and I realize I don't know them at all. Maybe they are nuts, or maybe they are down and out and this was their letter to the universe. Here is a list of things I want. If I never ask for them maybe I'll never get them, so why not write it down…and let it be known. I only went ahead and posted it because I thought it was intriguing and a little odd, I like quirky things to punctuate my day and I like the photographing of the people's responses idea. Since I couldn't set up a spy cam and actually do that, I have to just imagine what that little exhibit would look like in my head. Everyone has their reasons for doing what they do. I hope you get all the things you wish for Mr. Telephone Note Poster.
